While I was studying abroad in Sweden, a group of us took a two-day cruise ship to Tallinn, Estonia, on a free weekend. Estonia seemed like a hidden gem. I especially loved the medieval structures and the view of the sea on the way there – it reminded me of something out of Game of Thrones. The cruise ship (Baltic Queen – Tallink) was 18699418_10213656478474402_5268149819448280759_oclean, reasonably roomy, and had the most amazing mixed drinks!  YUM. *The cruise ship also provides some accessible friendly rooms*

Once in Estonia, we had a tour line up, however, about 15 minutes in, the group decided to take our own tour and get lunch. The tour we originally were on was found using a simple Google search. We stopped at a pizza place, it was okay, but if I visit again, I want to go somewhere that has food more particular to the country.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was finding a bookstore that carried the Harry Potter series.  I was already WAY over budget, so I decided not to buy it, but I love collecting the series in different languages.  I definitely bought the Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone in 18700504_10213673128930653_7961424394686865694_oSwedish! The cover is beautiful!

A friend and I separated from the group and searched for some of the hidden treasures in Old Town. We were really excited to see some of the medieval structures. I hope to visit again!
