Warning! The following contains spoilers for the first episode of 90 Day Fiancé.
90 Day Fiancé is back with a new season on TLC, and I couldn’t be more pumped. Honestly, thank you, TLC, for still finding couples for us to follow during a pandemic! Every Sunday, I get myself a glass of wine and watch 90 Day Fiancé.
First Impressions:
Jovi & Yara

My first impression of Jovi was not a good one 😂 He seems to be immature and not ready to be in a committed relationship. LAME. I’m going to guess Yara will be very unhappy with his behavior. I could not deal when Jovi explained his “free spirit” and his relationships with multiple strippers, LOL, and let me tell you, I was rolling my eyes when Jovi seemed upset after picking up Yara from the airport. Yara wanted to get some sleep after her 30-hour flight instead of going out around the town with him. YIKES. I could understand being so excited about showing your significant other around and spending time with them, but after a 30-hour flight, I would think some common sense would’ve kicked in for him, haha! Hopefully, he’ll get it together.
Brandon & Julia

YO! Haha! I can’t! So, Brandon lives and works on a farm and is bring Julia, a gogo dancer, to live with him and his parents. There are so many things going on here, from his parent signing him up on a dating website, his $10,000 credit card debt, not practicing safe sex with Julia, and his mother calling a gynecologist to speak with Julia. If I were Julia, I’d be so pissed at his mom, but I understand in this situation why his mother would take action. EEK. Oh, my god! Honey, this is going to be a wreck!
Mike & Natalie

EW, is Mike excited about anything? I’m confused about why he’s bringing Natalie here. He doesn’t seem to be excited about their relationship or able to forgive her for anything. The only time he seemed happy was when he was cuddling up with his cat. SNOOZE.
Rebecca & Zied

Here we go again! My first thoughts are about Rebecca’s new job and Zied’s sister. Rebecca is working at a food chain restaurant that I hadn’t heard of, but now I want to try it, lol! It’s called Joella’s Hot Chicken, and I can’t imagine going through a drive-through to see Rebecca from 90 Day Fiance at the window. Rebecca’s home with Zied will be bubbling up with drama this season, it appears, as they will be staying with Rebecca’s daughter and her significant other. Zied seems to be put off by Rebecca staying with another man who isn’t her husband; oh gosh, it just sounds messy.
Tarik & Hazel

We only got a taste of Tarik & Hazel in this first episode, but they’ll be joining in on season 8. I’m excited and curious about how their relationship will work, especially since Hazel will be looking for a girlfriend!!! She says she is bisexual, but I’m curious if she prefers women as the precious season showed Hazel sometimes being apprehensive regarding intimacy with Tarik, but that doesn’t necessarily point to anything.

Woohoo! I’m excited about this season of 90 Day Fiancé, and we still have more couples to meet! My routine of Sunday dinner, wine, and 90 Day Fiancé continues. Let me know your reactions.
