I am ALL 🔥 fired up about Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton Morgan, and Bethany Joy Lenz, who starred in One Tree Hill reuniting to create the ‘Drama Queens’ podcast. I’ve never been a podcast person, but this has really set me off! I have been such a fan of OTH, and this podcast is giving me so much energy! I’ve been getting HEAVY vibes to go on a road trip soon to visit all the hidden gems they talk about.

The three actresses started this podcast in June of 2021 to recap every episode over the nine seasons. They are spilling secrets, and I have enjoyed their “behind the scenes” experiences filming in Wilmington, North Carolina. I’m currently rewatching the episodes and following along with the podcast. It’s bringing me back to why I loved this show when I was younger. There’s drama on top of drama, and it is exaggerated for TV, but it focuses on so many aspects of different people, who end up being more similar than they realize. There are many struggles and mistakes that each character has to work through, and it’s relatable in that way.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with B. Davis, P. Sawyer, Hayley, and Luke. Looking back, I’m irked that I went for Luke instead of Nathan or Skills!!!! 😂At least my feelings toward Brooke, Hayley, and Peyton have stayed the same. I was so blessed to meet Sophia Bush, who played Brooke at a campaign event at Iowa State University. She is such a kind person, and it made me fangirl over her even more! I get chills thinking about it, y’all! 😂 I felt like I had known her for soooo many years because of how much I followed the show; it was easy to open up to her and talk about why being involved politically is meaningful to me. I opened up to her about my life that afterward gave me a little whiplash because it was so ODD that I felt so comfortable around her, but I bet she’s used to that! I, unfortunately, didn’t get a chance to snag a selfie with her, but the memory will last forever!

If you’re a fan of OTH and haven’t tuned into this podcast, you should give it a shot! I’m so glad I did! I even snagged a new cocktail recipe from Bethany Joy Lenz. I can’t wait to try it.
